Rise of the Indie Game Studio Roundtable Recap

This year at Seattle Indies Expo we teamed up with Clove Experiential to host the first “Rise of the Indie Game Studio” Roundtable held on September 1, 2024 at the Hilton Motif.

The event brought together 41 attendees from various countries to discuss challenges and interests in supporting indie games and game studios.

In attendance were executives and representatives of PlayEveryWare, Mega Crit Games, Astra Logical, Daedalic Entertainment, Serenity Forge, Team 17, Quantum Astrophysicists Guild, Clay Token Games, Morgan Stanley, Wilson Sonsini, SuperJump Games, Poppy Works, Nimble Games, Wicked Fox Games, Midwest Games, Academy of Interactive Entertainment, TriplePoint PR, and more.

Participants were divided into six teams to address key questions and propose solutions for the indie game industry.

The roundtable was facilitated by Jennifer Yi of Clove Experiential and featured five other hosts.
